What's New

The 2009 BMW 6-Series continues with new options and additions to optional packages. The Sport Package now includes a new exhaust tone, hood with a raised center section, Dark Chrome exhaust tips, anthracite-color headliner (Alcantara in coupe) and two exterior colors exclusive to the Sport Package: Imola Red and Carbon Black Metallic. The BMW Individual Composition package now offers Azurite Black Metallic and Ruby Red Metallic for the exterior and Rust Brown Full Merino Leather for the interior. A Smartphone adapter is offered that enables playback of audio files from a cell phone.

Yes, the ultimate driving machine. by MMMM@PalmSprings, CA on 04/27/2011. Trim: 2009 BMW 650i Convertible, Owned 3 years.

Pros: I love the styling, the ride, the sportiness. Feels like a smaller sports car, but the weight and wheelbase length give it a large sedan ride. Fit and finish is superb. The burbling from the exhaust is exhilarating. And the performance never ceases to amaze me and passengers. Top is almost always down here in the desert, and the wind buffeting at highway speeds is minimal.

Cons: Lack of proper drink holders. Rear seat legroom

Overall review: Excellent. 3 friends have bought one based on my experience with 3 of the current 6 series convertible.
