New for 2009 Audi TT

The 2009 Audi TT adds the S Coupe and S Roadster, powered by a 265-horsepower 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged direct-injection with S tronic dual-clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. Audi TTS equipment includes bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights; unique grille, bumpers and rocker panels; 18-inch wheels; black painted TTS brake calipers; TTS badges on grille, deck lid and steering wheel; dual chrome exhaust tips; available quattro GmbH 19-inch wheels and available Nappa leather seats. TT 2.0T S tronic is now available with quattro and Hill Hold Assist is standard on all versions. New 18-inch chrome wheels are available, and bi-color 18-inch 10-spoke wheels are available on 2.0T.

Short Take

The redesigned TT has responsive but not sporty handling. The ride has improved. The turbocharged four-cylinder engine is punchy enough. The more powerful 3.2-liter V6 is carried over from the previous generation, as is the optional excellent S-tronic transmission that shifts automatically. A 266-hp version of the four-cylinder is available in the sportier TTS.
