Pros:
This is the most comfortable car I have driven. It has a lot of cargo room and decent power for city and highway driving. Mine currently has 118000km (purchased it new) and I get around 7.9 l/100km average. I am an enthusiastic driver and can very easily increase the mileage when driving conservatively.
Fit and finish is good and I have not had any problems except the muffler rusted off at about four and a half years. Sure do love salty Canadian winters!
Cons:
Styling is a little dorky and it could use a water temperature gauge. I am not a fan of the blue and red indicator lights. I like more information.
The handling is nothing special, but is a lot better than the competition for what it is, an entry level economy car that actually competes with some compacts. I improved the handling by using winter tires on the factory rims and a plus 2 summer tire setup (215/45-R17). This minor tweak made quite a bit of difference. The factory tires were pretty poor.
Overall review:
I love this car! I have been contemplating selling it and upgrading for a couple years now, but I drive long distances and have not found a vehicle that would effectively replace it with regards to practicality and comfort.
