2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

The all-new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is offered in two trim levels, GSR and MR, both powered by a 291-horsepower turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder that develops 300 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm. The GSR gets a 5-speed manual transmission while the MR features a new new 6-speed, Twin-Clutch Sportronic Shift Transmission (TC-SST) with Normal, Sport and S-Sport modes. Both versions include the Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) all-wheel-drive system with Active Center Differential (ACD), Active Yaw Control (AYC), Active Stability Control (ASC), and Sport ABS brakes. GSR includes a 140-watt audio system, automatic climate control, remote keyless entry, Recaro bucket seats and 18 x 8.5 Enkei cast alloy wheels. The MR upgrades with Bilstein shocks, BBS wheels, a larger rear wing, HID headlights and Bluetooth wireless interface system.
