The interior has a number of updates including with new seats, door trim panels, A- and B-pillar trims, center console, new floor-mounted shifter, Satin Pewter finishes and chrome accents to give the 2008 Mariner an upscale look. The Mariner is the first vehicle to debut the “top of dash” display, Ice Blue Lighting and dials and buttons that “poke-through” the center console. The center console is large enough to hold a laptop computer and has three levels of storage space. The chassis is upgraded the new Electric Power Steering (EPS) system that helps improve fuel economy. Safety equipment includes standard side-curtain airbags with AdvanceTrac with the roll stability control system. Under the hood is a four-speed automatic paired with the standard 2.3-liter 153-horsepower four cylinder or an optional 3.0-liter 200-horsepower V6 produces 193 lb-ft of torque.

Pros: The look - I still like it. The room in the trunk and the foldable seats are very usefull.
Cons: I don't like that most of the interior is plastic and also it has no power at all. I hate when I accelarate it takes forever.
Overall review: Overall it's a nice looking car and I wish they start making it with a little more power
