The 2008 Honda Pilot adds the Value Package (VP) and Special Edition (SE) to the lineup with the VP replacing the LX. The premium SE package adds to the features of the EX. Adding a rear privacy glass, machined alloy wheels and XM satellite radio, the VP also features an upgraded audio, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, roof rails and body-color door mirrors, door handles and rear spoiler. The SE adds features to the EX including a rear DVD rear entertainment system, XM satellite radio, moonroof, 115-volt power outlet and ambient console lighting.

Horrific upholstery by Erin C. on 09/25/2011. Trim: 2008 Honda Pilot VP 2WD 5-Spd AT, Owned 2 years.

Pros: It is a Honda.

Cons: Do not buy the 2008 Honda Pilot with fabric seats. They are the absolute worst. Everything stains them (eve water!) and they are impossible to clean, even by a professional.

Overall review: We love our car, but the love grows less and less everytime we get in the car and have to sit on and look at the nasty seats.
