The 2008 Honda Odyssey is updated with new exterior styling and a more fuel-efficient version of the i-VTEC with Variable Cylinder Management, rated at 16/23 (city/hwy) mpg in the LX and EX versions. The exterior updates include a bolder six-sided grille design and a new front fascia with sharper lines. Four new available features include Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, 4-way power passenger seat, rearview camera display integrated into the rearview mirror and memory-linked side mirrors with reverse tilt-down. Interior updates include new colors and textures for the instrument panel, premium fabric for LX and EX seating surfaces and an additional storage bin in the second-row PlusOne Seat.

Its a solid van, with compromises. by Tim (S. FL) on 12/03/2011. Trim: 2008 Honda Odyssey EX, Owned 3 years.

Pros: Roomy, comfortable, loads of options, able to move almost anything.

Cons: Unhappy how this car eats tires, one set at 18,000, and now have about 36,000 need another set. I need to have the transmission updated (again) with the software update since it sometimes has the shudder in the rear. The front wheel steering needs to be rebalanced again, realigned again. Honda service is more the problem than the van.

Overall review: Nice car, gas guzzler, comfortable, and can take a kid putting the garden rake across the side.
