Can't Imagine Going Back to a Car

Pros:
Diesel - Very quiet, good smooth power with dual turbos, new car-like interior and features for those used to a luxury car, much improved ride from the earlier bouncy F-250's, buttons, levers, switches and little things have been very durable and reliable, nothing rattles or makes noise, step and handle on the tailgate is a must and very helpful, overall fit and finish is great. Absulutely no soot out the tailpipe - still no evidence of any exhaust soot on the tailpipe in over 26,000 miles.
Cons:
Diesel - Annoying that Ford decided to redo the body style after only 3 years. New emissions standards have really put a dent in mileage - about 16-17mpg at 65 mph on the highway and 10-12mpg in town, average of about 13-14mpg in mixed driving at normal speeds and driving. My 2005 diesel Excursion gets quite a bit better mileage. Banks high flow air filter sometimes sets off check engine light. Expensive oil changes - takes 15 quarts of oil. Concern over what might or might not void the warranty - aftermarket exhaust, air filter, lift, etc. Turbo pressure guage has waivered 3-4psi even with constant speed and pressure on gas pedal on occasion - not sure if this is normal.
Overall review:
Very fun to own and drive. Works well as my daily driver, even as 4x4 fits in 7ft parking garage. Finally, the luxury in a truck that I am used to from a luxury car. Not bad mileage for its size, but emissions standards have reduced diesel efficiency.
