What's New

The 2008 Chevrolet HHR adds standard OnStar and a standard tire-pressure-monitoring system. Five-passenger versions are available with solid rear quarter panels replacing the rear side windows. StabiliTrak stability control and new 16-inch wheels are available and four new colors are added: Cardinal Red Metallic, Techno Gray Metallic, Victory Red and Blue Flash Metallic. The 260-horsepower turbocharged HHR SS joins the lineup.

Good choice by An MSN Autos Consumer on 12/14/2008. Trim: 2008 Chevrolet HHR LT1, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Ease of entry and exit, seat position, ride, fuel economy, styling.

Cons: Blind spots that you have to get used to. Lack of storage compartments. Arm rests not adjustable. Poiot front dome light. Definately need running boards to prevent extensive paint chipping on rear door flairs. We added after initial purchase.

Overall review: At 9800 mile, car has met all expectations. Dealer service has been very good. Traded a Toyota Camray for this car.
