2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class receives new styling featuring a more aggressive front bumper, lower air dam, restyled front grille and headlights, more aerodynamic side mirrors, and redesigned rear bumper and taillights. The interior is fitted with a new steering wheel and shift lever, revised layout for automatic control, and four new interior colors. New standard equipment includes a glass sunroof, six-disc CD changer and Harman/Kardon Logic 7 ™ premium audio system. The E320 BLUETEC replaces the E320 CDI and is heralded as the world’s cleanest diesel. With 388 lb-ft of torque, a 0 to 60 mph time of 6.6 seconds, and a fuel economy rating of 26/37 (city/hwy), the E320 BLUETEC also uses an ultra-low sulfur diesel that has 97 percent less sulfur content. Replacing the E500, the E550 is powered by a new-generation 32-valve 5.5-liter V8 delivering 382 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. The E63 AMG also replaces the E55 AMG featuring a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 that produces 507 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. All models receive the Mercedes-Benz PRE-SAFE safety system that takes protective measures before a crash to minimize injuries.
