The 2007 Cadillac Escalade is redesigned with distinctive exterior styling and powered by a new 403-horsepower 6.2-liter all-aluminum V8 with variable valve timing combined with a new 6-speed automatic transmission. The Escalade EXT has a stronger frame, larger four-wheel disc brakes, an all-new Bosch ABS system, and head curtain side airbags with rollover protection for all seating rows. The interior is more refined and features a Bose 5.1 Digital Surround Sound system integrated into a new family of radios that play DVDs, CDs, MP3s and XM Satellite Radio. All Escalade EXT models equipped with OnStar will feature Generation 7 technology and a new service called OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation.

Best of both worlds. by Married with children. on 10/01/2007. Trim: 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT Sport Utility Truck, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: It has ample power and a great ride
Cons: Gas mileage
Overall review: It was difficult to convince myself that the Escalade was worth the extra $10K over the Tahoe. After a year of blissful ownership I’m glad I bit the bullet and spent the money.
