The ultimate fun-machine. by Jackson from Vancouver on 02/14/2011. Trim: 2007 Audi A4 3.2 quattro with Tiptronic, Owned 3 years.

Pros: I purchased my Audi in 2008, so when it was a year old. It's been good to me ever since. Perform basic maintenance, which is still covered by warranty, and you're good to go. The naturally-aspirated engine packs a solid punch; possibly even one that Chuck Norris would be proud of. The six-speed transmission shifts very quickly, and I like that the Tiptronic offers a semi-manual option. What? I need my fair share of fun, right? If you live in a snowy region, get the quattro. You will not regret it at all. The car just keeps going and going and going in the snow while I watch others skidding off the canyon highways of British Columbia.
Cons: The doors have met a pet peave of mine. I am used to just pushing on the handle of a door and having it open and stay open. However, the doors on this car, which must open a good 80 degrees or so, must be opened completely manually and one must make sure that they will stay in place. It's not a big deal, but it's a pet peave of mine. Also, the trunk opens extrememly slowly. I will push on it very hard but it still doesn't like to open. This is kind of annoying because I use the trunk, which is roomy, by the way, quite frequently. This problem may be caused by a faulty pair of those pipes that hold up the trunk. The seats get a bit uncomfortable after long trips and it takes 91 octane....
Overall review: Overall, this is a fun car. It comes with its minor issues of little importance that seem to bug me, but it makes up for it everywhere else. I put the S-Line wheels, grille, and lip spoiler on it as well a a sport suspension. I have not regretted the purchase of this car and I might one day add a twin-turbo system to this car because it's just so fun. My only regret is not getting this car with a standard transmission. Although I am not big on Bose, I will admit that their sound sytem in this car is of quality. The styling isn't amazing, but i definitely stand out from a civic, which I'm prefectly okay with. However, there is an advantage to the average styling. You can speed through traffic, and if you feel the cops are onto you, the styling lets you blend in with the crowd, something I am grateful of, if you catch my drift. This is my second Audi A4 (the first being a 1998) and I will continue to purchase A4s, or I might even upgrade to the S4, but the A4 repair costs are bad enough.
