The 2006 Toyota Matrix continues essentially unchanged after receiving a number of exterior updates for 2005. One new feature for 2006 is an optional JBL premium AM/FM audio system with 6-disc in-dash CD changer for the Matrix XR.

Introduction

The Matrix is a compact crossover vehicle, designed by Toyota’s CALTY Design Studio in Newport Beach, CA and built on the Corolla platform. The Matrix was added to the Toyota lineup for the 2003 model year in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations.
