2006 Scion xA

The 2006 Scion xA gets a slight makeover with a new grille, redesigned front bumper, color-keyed rocker panels and rear bumper, headlights, taillights and side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Interior upgrades include new seat fabric, speedometer with a new silver background and a new steering wheel with integrated audio controls. Three all-new wheel cover designs are offered. A Pioneer AM/FM/CD head unit with iPod control is now available as an all-new accessory upgrade for all 2006 Scions. This head unit integrates track, artist and album information from the iPod into a one-line display on the head unit's screen.

The xA is Scion’s compact hatchback and was one of the two models that launched Scion as an all-new brand for Toyota. Scion is geared toward the youth market, offering highly customizable vehicles with generous standard equipment for a value-oriented price. Sold as the ist in Japan, the xA was introduced for sale in California early in 2003 and extended to the rest of America throughout 2004.
