The Montego was a new model for 2005 and the 2006 Mercury Montego receives subtle changes including a leather-wrapped steering wheel with satin-aluminum accents and audio controls. New options include a rear-seat DVD entertainment system and a navigation system for the Premier version. Three new exterior colors include Satellite Silver Clearcoat Metallic, Dark Blue Pearl Clearcoat Metallic and Vivid Red Clearcoat Metallic.

A completely competent car by Jonathan on 04/15/2010. Trim: 2006 Mercury Montego Premier AWD, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Very comfortable to sit in and to drive. All wheel drive is also exceptional in the winter.
Cons: Loud, buzzy and laggard performance. However, I knew this when I bought the car, and so it's not such a big deal.
Overall review: Great used / second car. Dependable, comfortable, safe and mildly luxurious.
