2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata

The all-new 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata is powered by a 170-horsepower DOHC 2.0-liter engine, teamed with a 5-speed or 6-speed manual transmission. A 6-speed automatic is optional, reducing engine output to 166 horsepower. The new Mazda MX-5 Miata is slightly larger in every dimension, allowing for additional interior room. The convertible top includes a glass rear window and a hardtop will be available.

The MX-5 Miata is Mazda’s two-seat, rear-wheel-drive convertible sports car that is completely redesigned for the 2006 model year. The new MX-5 Miata features bold fender flares, a large grille, standard 16-inch alloy wheels and dual chrome exhaust pipes for a more aggressive look. The best-selling two-seat roadster in the world, the MX-5 Miata was first introduced in the summer of 1989 and was redesigned for the 1999 model year.
