The 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo adds the Gallardo Spyder and the Gallardo SE the Gallardo model line. The Gallardo receives a power increase to 520 horsepower for the 5.0-liter V10 engine. The Gallardo Spyder receives strengthened A-pillars, Roll-Over Ptrotection System, and the top can be lowered in just over 20 seconds and stows completely under the rear decklid. The Gallardo SE features a unique two-tone paint scheme, coordinated two-tone interior, slightly-tinted taillights, new "Callisto" wheels, colored brake calipers, sport suspension, P Zero Corsa tires and sport steering wheel. Only 250 Gallardo SEs will be built.

You gotta get one by Declan on 07/03/2011. Trim: 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe, Owned 5 years.

Pros: Having owned one since 2006 with now 20,000 miles on it, I can't believe how reliable and inexpensive it has been to maintain. Sure there maybe faster cars out there at this price point, but nothing moves the needle like a Gallardo. The styling is awesome, takes a while to learn to extract the most from the car but once you do its a treat. I am still on my first clutch. Has a surprising amount of room inside if you use soft luggage for road trips.

Cons: Turning radius of a ship. Harsh ride over really bumpy surfaces, but that's kinda expected. Passage side rear visibility is hard.

Overall review: Highly recommended. Porsche turbo's maybe faster, my previous car was one. But after owning a Gallardo, the Porsche is an appliance, it lacks soul. Plus Lamborghini owners usually have made there own money so they are not insufferable like Ferrari owners.
