Pros: HUGE trunk, smooth as silk ride, plenty of space to comfortably fit up to 5 people, handles remarkably well at high speeds considering how big it is, RWD, V8, tough body-on-frame design, bulletproof reliability, cheap to fix. Not to mention the amount of respect it gets you on the road when people move over from the fast lane since they think you are a cop, lol. You can start it up and drive it any time, anywhere without any doubts as long as it is properly maintained. I bought mine from an elderly couple who only used it to go to church every Sunday and buy groceries so it has a lot of life left in it. Did I mention it gets 25 mpg on the open highway with the cruise control set at 70?
Cons: This isn't a huge issue, but it uses a little more gas than average in town.
Overall review: This is one of the last full size American sedans with a V8 and RWD, and chances are they may never be back. So you know you it is a one of a kind. There is a reason this car has been in law enforcement and the taxi service for over a decade, Ford's 4.6 just keep going and going. The only work my car has needed are just oil changes, air filters, and a transmission fluid and filter change. It has yet to give me any trouble. Insurance is cheap and parts are everywhere. I can go on forever about how great this car is, but you'll never know how magnificent it truly is until you get out there and take one for a spin for yourself. Get it while its hot!!
