The 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 joins the lineup for 2006, powered by a 505-horsepower LS7 7.0-liter V8 engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard Z06 equipment also includes 18-inch front wheels with 275/35ZR18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar Extended Mobility tires and 19-inch rear wheels with 325/30ZR19 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar Extended Mobility tires. The brakes have 6-piston front calipers, 4-piston rear calipers and use a total of 20 brake pads. Corvette Coupe and Convertible offer a new electronically-controlled 6-Speed Paddle Shift automatic transmission with manual shift control.

Pros: Appearance and performance. And the looks the car gets from old and young people alike.
Cons: The center console lid could stand a little upgrading, the plastic cover doesn't quite get it, otherwise the machine is totally awesome.
Overall review: Best sports car you can buy for the money.
