2006 BMW 3-Series Sports Wagon

The 2006 BMW 3-Series Sports Wagon debuts with an all-new design that blends 3-Series character with new styling elements from the 7-Series and the 5-Series. Riding on a new 5-link rear suspension, the 3-Series Sports Wagon boasts a new double-pivot front suspension with spring struts made of aluminum and has a near 50/50 front-to-rear weight distribution. The 3-Series Sports Wagon is offered as the 325xi, with all-wheel-drive and powered by a 215-horsepower 3.0-liter engine with 185 lb-ft of torque. The new inline six-cylinder engine uses magnesium/aluminum composite for reduced weight and includes the first use of BMW VALVETRONIC for a six-cylinder engine.
