2005 Volkswagen Jetta

The 2005 New Jetta looks bigger and bolder with the new Volkswagen front end. At the rear, taillights are divided into two sections, while the interior focuses on safety and comfort with six airbags and five head restraints. Standard interior features include a three-spoke sport steering wheel, semi-automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, an AM/FM/CD, exterior temperature display, chrome trim around the instruments, and 8-way seat adjustment. The New Jetta is offered with a new 150-horsepower 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine developed specifically for the U.S. market, paired with a standard 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed automatic. A 200-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter with direct fuel injection and a 1.9-liter TDI diesel with direct injection will also be offered.
