Pros: This is the fourth Jetta TDI I have owned in the past 15 years. I swear by them. They are tough in the winter, I have a 5 speed which is great in lots of snow, but you need 4 snow tires of course, and the fuel economy is fantastic. Lately with fuel prices being almost $1.00 a litre I use about $50. a month on fill-ups and that's 850 kms+ I have also totalled one of my cars in a side impact crash and was hurt very little. The centre post in a side-impact will protect you well.
Cons: No cons whatever
Overall review: Generally, everyone should own a reliable, economical, fuel efficient and yes, environmentally friendly, VW Jetta. There would be many more happy drivers.
