A Limited trim level is added, a 5-speed manual transmission is offered (LS), disc brakes are standard on all trim levels, and 17-inch wheels are standard for XLS and Limited. A new rear spoiler is added that includes the center stop light and the tailgate handle is larger. The Limited has monochromatic fender flares and rocker panel extensions, as well as clear taillight lenses.

Nice looking, but not reliable by An MSN Autos Consumer on 02/16/2011. Trim: 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander LS AWD, Owned 6 years.

Pros: Great looks, handles very well in the snow and rain. A lot of storage room.

Cons: After 5 years and only 82000km had to replace upper and lower control arms at the back. Costly repair for a common problem that happens to outlanders. Gas mileage is far worst than advertised. I get on average 12.5l/100km.

Overall review: Would expect better quality from Mitsubishi. I would not recommand this car.
