Pros: One of the best looking roadsters out there. When accelerating will find it difficult not to smile. Seats are very comfortable. Shifter in good place. Steering wheel in good driving position. Trunk is pretty big for roadster. Steering quite good, no blind spots with top down. I Personally Feel that this car can compete with much more expensive roadsters (i.e. Audi TT, BMW Z3,Z4, Mazda Miata, etc) for a lower price both in Purchase price and cost of repair. Power top is fastest in market and easy to unlatch/open and latch/open. Driver can do it while in driver seat!! Engine uses Honda Proven V-TEC Technology however been modified by Honda Engineers for performance.
Cons: The Outside looks are amazing, however for a car in this price range I was suprised to see a digital dash that is not much more sophisticated than those made in the late 80's. Tires are pretty expensive and wear down fairly quick but its a sport car so what do you expect :). No auto door unlock swith in car (however there is one on remote) CD Player that comes with car looks pretty cheap however it does work and the sound system is decent. People much taller than 6 ft will have hard time driving car. I am right around 6 feet and have seat all the way back when driving. Have to remember power top only works with emergency brake up (safety feature). Steering Wheel No Tilt Feature.
Overall review: While this car does not have some of the features of BMW, AUDI (i.e. heated seats, bluetooth, etc), it makes up for this through ownership experience. People who I have talked with who have owner Audi and BMW have complained about maintenance cost and purchase price. The Mazda Miata has less power, manual top, more cramped interior, and doesn't look as good. When I first started looking to purchase this car I did this because of the outside looks. However learned quickly through much research that while the interior is a little dissapointing from features standpoint for roadster in this price range, the engine sound is amazing however quite loud at high RPM's (sounds much like formula one race car), reliability is quite high( I.E. it's is Honda with V-TEC Engine, maintenance fairly low, cost quite reasonable, Resale value pretty good, and due to limited production you do not see one at every stoplight. FYI When I bought I did not see a lot of these cars for sale with >150k miles.
