This is why GM is in trouble. by Andy on 10/29/2006. Trim: 2004 Chevrolet S-10 Crew Cab 4WD LS, Owned 2 years.
Pros: 4 wheel drive is better than most I have used.Radio sound is good
Cons: The bow tie looks cheap, the drivers seat is the worst of any I have driven. Door pins are weak.U joint at 45000 miles.Bed is too small.Space for feet in front is too small.Back seat good for very short rides only.A/c clutch noisey, fuel mileage is very poor 16-18mpg / trailer 10-12. The truck is of poor quailty in every area you can think of.Im a gm guy for 30 years, this truck may make me go Asian.
Overall review: This truck has 84.993 miles and I have not enjoyed 1 mile in it.If it was not a company supplied truck I would have sold it after the first 50 miles. There is 6 of these in fleet of 30 and not one of drivers with the s-10s are happy with them.
