"High Maintenance Luxury Sedan" by Bill from Tennessee on 05/13/2011. Trim: 2004 Cadillac DeVille Sedan, Owned 2 years.

Pros: Very comfortable ride. Great mileage. Like style.

Cons: My third Cadillac and my second Northstar engine. Both leaked oil and of course the engine has to come out of the car to be fixed. The 2004 leaks oil from the crankcase, around the timing gear and water is leaking from the water pump gasket. The dealer estimate to fix these problems is $3800. Before that estimate replaced both valve cover gaskets because of oil leaks. Before you buy this car purchase a warranty and make sure it covers oil leaks. If it is a Northstar engine it will leak no matter year model you purchase.

Overall review: Great car but very high maintenance after new car warranty expires.
