Pros:
Just bought 2003 Signature Model- (72,000 miles- $8,900)has all options Love the ride..Car,despite 9 year age is flawless,no rattles, minimum wind noise. Gets on freeway effortlessly. Paint has held up admirably! Really "takes a shine" with just a liittle "spray on,wipe off" wax. Also vinal top looks great (half roof) I used one coat of cleaner on it. Have had universal complements-except from my mid -30's friends,(i'm 55)-They just don't "get it", think it looks like Grampa's car.Everyone my age, older and the teenage friends of my two (18& 15) daughters think I'm a rich guy now... Love the heated seats, 3 memory settings, adjustable pedals-one can really "taylor" driving position perfectly.
Cons:
Stereo,(Premo model Alpine) could be flat out LOUDER-I'm an old "Classic Rocker", & I STILL LIKE IT CRANKED...
Sound quality is flawless, though. The rear drivers side window quit-thankfully in "up " position. Trunk while cavernous,is too deep.
These are "minor beefs" .
Overall review:
Love the prestige.YOU "ARRIVE' IN THIS RIDE! Gas milage (about 22mpg in mixed city/highway) is fine.Love all the buttons,&features...You find new ones all the time...Does one need rain sensing wipers"back up sensors,11 buttons/lites on their roof,a 6 cd changer, and a single inside, auto dimming & heated mirrors etc.. NO-but they are fun, fancy, and beat the humdrum existance of all other vechicles-and 9 years after manufacture, work just fine.
@ this point-I COULDN'T BE MUCH HAPPIER-THANKS LINCOLN!
