Constant Problems by An MSN Autos Consumer on 01/25/2008. Trim: 2002 Subaru Impreza Wagon 2.5 TS, Owned 6 years.

Pros: The vehicle handles well in the snow and had excellent storage.

Cons: The car constantly needs to be serviced, costing a lot of money and taking a lot of time.

Overall review: After only five years of ownership and a little over 80K miles, I have had to sink (literally) thousands of dollars to maintain and repair this vehicle (even with the warranty). The last straw has to be the dealer's recommendation that the head gasket be replaced (it's leaking oil) and replacing the front brakes (again!) It's been a frustrating, disappointing experience.
