The Real Driving Machine by GrndLkNatv on 06/17/2007. Trim: 2002 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I love everything about this car... In regular suspension mode it rides like a dream, in sport mode you can hang corners like it's on rails.. I have blown the doors off of Vettes, Camaro's, Mustangs, BMW's (M3 and M5), Mercedes, you name it... Tonight I blew a Dodge Charger SRT-8 off the road so bad he took the next exit. I started pulling away quickly right out of first gear, the poor guy had to shift at 5500 rpm or so and I was just getting into the power band, shifted at 7500 and was gone.... The comfort of the seats while driving this car are amazing, my wife even loves to ride in this car and my kids just can't get enough... The sound of the Ferrari V8 is amazing!!!!
Cons: Price of parts and regular maintenance.... If you don't do your own, you had better have deep pockets...... I just did my own LOF (Lube Oil and Filter), and am getting ready to do the tranny and differential service myself this coming weekend. Plugs and tires are next after that. It's all nicely put together, and is all logical in lay out so doing your own work is easy if you just read the manual..
Overall review: This is a dream car, the newer ones are even more so... If you ever want to ride in a real car, one made by hand, this is the affordable ride... This is a working man's Ferrari and the only difference between it and a real Ferrari is the emblem on the hood since it's a Ferrari V8 under the hood... BMW, Porsche, Mercedes are all too common and are pedestrian in comparison... Anyone can own the others, only the few can own a Maserati...
