Misunderstood? by Canadian Landy on 11/03/2009. Trim: 2002 Land Rover Freelander S, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Style, Standard features--resale value

Cons: resale value, no arm rest, weird cupholders, some minor rattles and HVAC noise

Overall review: Bought this truck used just four months ago. The previous owner maintained it at a Land Rover Dealership in the Vancouver are. The only thing things that had to be done were the timing belt (3 of them) replacement and a four wheel brake job which cost a pretty penny. But after all that is said and done, the truck seems reliable and fun to drive. I don't understand what all the hoopla is all about with all the complaints.
