Pros:
Cool looking car GREAT towing! Great interior features. Have owned since 2003 purchased used. Have had to perform no major repairs with the current 66K miles.
Cons:
No longer made and although stated would be no problem to repair that is not true! Had to find own brakes and muffler system. BUT the muffler was wrong when we purchased the vehicle. DO not buy from CARMAX they should have repaired the muffler and tailpipe properly. 4 each O2 sensors suddenly don't work now and won't pass state safety inspection. Expensive repair. I do not consider these major repairs just maintenance but strange they all went at once. Small cab seating area. LOVED my 2002 IsuzuTrooper but had to sell.
Overall review:
THis has been an extremely reliable vehicle. It has it's quirks but what vehicle doesn't. Moved cross country towing a heavy trailer and it never skipped a beat and gas mileage was barely affected. Make sure if you purchase an Isuzu you have a Chrysler dealer that still services them. Be prepared to find your own parts.
