Fun to drive by Horacio from Wheeling.IL on 03/07/2010. Trim: 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE Sedan, Owned 8 years.

Pros: Its stylish/sporty looking,good paint.Responsive in accelaration and handling.Air conditioning works great after 9 years/90k miles.Trasmission and engine feel like they are working well.

Cons: Very expensive repairs at times.Initial anti theft;car did not start problem after only one year.Recent ignition coil and assoc.parts.Brake problems initially.

Overall review: It runs great but I have also spent a lot of money keeping it up.The head gasket is leaking oil at 90k miles.Like any other car that has problems be careful who works on it.I had a very bad experience with the elec.harness that is connected to the bearings.I was lied to;telling me the bearings were bad,I had to replace the harness anyway.Overall I have to say its a decent car.
