Nice solid truck. by Never a GM on 01/23/2009. Trim: 2001 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCab Short Bed 2WD, Owned 8 years.

Pros: Overall very pleased looks and runs like new.

Cons: AC seized and prevented vehicle from running. Temporary no start/no crank situation early in the morning on very cold days - workaround has been to insert key, removed key, re-insert and leave key in the on position for a few seconds before attempting to start. Last problem is intermittent and I have not had it looked after since those types of problems are the hardest for mechanics to troubleshoot (they usually replace parts from the most expensive to least...wonder why!)

Overall review: I would definetly buy another one despite the "minor" cons mentioned. Previous larger vehicle was a Venture Chev/GM (year 2000) purchased new and was a problematic, falling apart, lowest quality, lousy dealer serviced $34,000 rusting piece of unreliable junk. NEVER will I buy another GM product! For overall quality I favour the 2005 Hyundai Sonata. Purchased new, it has been 100% reliable.
