A very nice Vehicle by Caddy Lady from Florida on 11/10/2007. Trim: 2001 Cadillac DeVille Base, Owned 6 years.

Pros: I love the comfort of this vehicle. My 84 year old Mom prefers to ride in my car because it's easier for her to get in and out of with her many disabilities. I love all the power controls and the stero system. The car is quiet, reliable and looks great.

Cons: The Northstar engine uses a LOT of oil. I change my oil every 3 months-3,000 miles and have to add at least 2 quarts of oil between changes. I had to have one of the motors on the power window replaced and that was pricy! I have had very few repairs but the ones I have had to make have been expensive. Currently the "Leather" dash is letting go - The glue is not holding and this is not covered by their warranty.

Overall review: I love the car but wish it got better gas mileage. This is my 2nd Caddy and I have loved them both - but times, they are a changing. Caddy makers need to recognize this fact and add some new, fuel efficient models to their line-up.
