What's New

The Toyota Celica is restyled with more angular lines than before. The sporty coupe is lighter in weight than its predecessor and shorter in overall length. There are two new engines: A 140-horsepower four cylinder and a 180-horsepower four with Variable Valve Timing and Lift (VVTL-i). For the first time, a 6-speed gearbox is available on the Celica. Front seats are built to reduce whiplash injuries in a crash, and the dashboard arrangement is cockpit-style for the driver.

Celica: Japanese- for Ninja Chariot by Rick In Texas on 02/01/2010. Trim: 2000 Toyota Celica GT, Owned 2 years.

Pros: I LOVE My Celica. It runs like a dream and has 190k on it. I will never own another make of car but Toyota. Japanese Cars Rule-sorry Detroit.

Cons: I wish only to fix worn seats, hatch lift stabilizers, and sunroof that leaks. But the roof still works just glass' seal is old. Check engine light on but turned out to be O2 vaccum hose was loose.

Overall review: Buy it you will love it.
