Best bang for the buck i have ever found

Pros:
Bought this car used with 142,000 miles on it. The v8 is indeed powerful, the engine and tranny both drive like new. The body is solid, no rust, dents, or body damage..good quality steel in the one i found. the interior spacious, and it a great step up from my old rusty caravan. AWD really grips the road, and i have no fear driving my two small kids around in this. Was leery of wintertime in my van...im not worried at all in the Mountaineer. best used car i have ever purchased.
Cons:
blah, blah. blah..same as everyone else. My radio works, but the screen does not. My rear wiper works when it wants to. The gas is indeed cruddy yet after i installed a K&N air filter, gave it a oilchange with higher mile rated oil, and a standard tune up with plugs, ect i gained mpg. I was averaging 10 - 12 in the city at first, now im getting 13-16 in the city. Not bad for a gas guzzling v8. Even some of the newer cars today still get around that much...and this one was bought cash and is clear, no expensive payment. Also im starting to have some squeaks from the passenger side front end, so i probably will have to get a new sway bar , or strut assembly soon. Keyless entry getting touchy
Overall review:
bought mine for a steal compared to a lot of the used cars i found out there. The dealer even knocked some off the price because he said he could not get the key in the driver side door....a can of WD40 fixed that when i got home. so far i could describe it as: comfortable, roomy, solid, reliable, powerful, manly, fast, and refined. The power moon roof is nice, leather is good condition, but a little chaffed on the leg areas, I would recommend this year vehicle to anyone who wants a reliable SUV and dont mind a few nit picks to fix or replace.
