2000 Mazda MPV

This is Mazda's first big overhaul of its MPV. While this seven-passenger minivan remains smaller than many competitors in overall length, MPV's interior is redesigned to maximize its features: a rear-most bench seat that flips and folds into the cargo floor; and Side-by-Slide second row seats that can be pushed adjacent to each other to form a bench, kept apart for separate chair seating, or removed. In contrast with earlier models, the 2000 MPV is front-wheel drive and has two second-row sliding side doors. In a novel move, the windows on the sliding doors can be rolled down, just like in a car.
