The A6 lineup is strengthened by two new players: the A6 2.7 T and the A6 4.2. A 250-horsepower biturbo V6 engine powers the former, while the latter ups the ante with a 300-horsepower V8. Both models feature Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system. The A6 2.8 is essentially unchanged, except for an improved automatic transmission and the availability of a 5-speed manual on the quattro version.

Pros: i have an audi a6 4.2 ABT . this car is amazing. it has 276 thousand ks on it. very tough ..as long as you do the maintenance. i drive the snot out of it everywhere i go
Cons: maintenance. timing belt, water pump...expensive.
