Powerful, Comfortable, and Easy to Drive by Zbdaddy from Knoxville, TN on 05/19/2005. Trim: 1999 GMC Yukon SLE 2WD, Owned 6 years.

Pros: Great engine and transmission. Handles well and drives effortlessly for such a large vehicle. Very roomy with plenty of room for storage. Great view of the road.

Cons: The air ducts for the heat/air are noisy. I have had to put three starters on this vehicle and it only has 55,000 miles on it. There are a lot of squeaks and rattles in the body that I don't think a vehicle with such low mileage should have.

Overall review: I really like the GMC Yukon. For such a large vehicle it is easy to drive and very comfortable. Although, with gas prices reaching all time highs, the 16.5 mpg I get is hard to take. Fortunatly this is a secondary car and not driven every day.
