Pros:
Surprisingly ballsy for a V6. It's pretty good in the snow for a rear wheel drive with limited slip and also handles well for a big behemoth. The interior is very comfortable and spacious. Good in accidents.
Cons:
It guzzles gas and is pretty hard on brakes.
Overall review:
My father bought the vehicle in 01 and drove it until 08 when he retired. He was in a low-speed head on accident with an explorer a few years ago. The van survived and the explorer was demolished. I have done some work on it in the past and it's pretty easy to work on. It's build just like an old full sized car or truck. He gave it to me when he retired and I actually like driving it. It's not a sports car but it moves and has a lot of cargo room and it's really good for towing if a friend breaks down or something. Great vehicle for camping or going on trips or if you need something to work out of if you don't have a truck. It's a house on wheels.
