A Comfortable SUV by Traveler from Michigan on 12/20/2002. Trim: 1999 Cadillac Escalade 4WD, Owned 3 years.

Pros: An excellent road vehicle; predictable performance; very comfortable seats; Bose radio with CD changer is outstanding; few problems; good Cadillac service; good styling; rear seat control of audio and heating and cooling well done.

Cons: Poor gas mileage; fold down tailgate presents a difficult reach to load cargo area; dashboard displays and controls not equivalent to other Cadillac vehicles.

Overall review: A very reliable and comfortable vehicle for those who drive over varying roads and in changable weather conditions; does a very creditable job on the Interstate for long trips and equally creditable in snow and mud.
