Two Rodeos and still in love. by RobbyDee from Tulsa on 03/06/2008. Trim: 1998 Isuzu Rodeo S V6 2WD, Owned 3 years.

Pros: Great looking truck. I actually purchased this truck as a rebuilt vehicle and it still looks incredible. Plenty of power without terrible gas mileage. Everything about this truck is easy to use and easy to maintain. Bought it for my wife and I can't get her to even look at anything else.

Cons: Just had the intake manifold gasket replaced ($230). Apparently this is a common problem with these, but it was an easy and affordable fix. Wheel skins/hub caps do not stay on very well. Have lost all but one. Rides a little rougher than my '97. Where did the disc brakes from '97 go?!?

Overall review: This is our second Rodeo and we still love these trucks. The '98 isn't as confortable a ride as my '97, but it makes up for it with the new styling. if you are looking for an affordable SUV that you will love and will love you back then this is your truck. Keep up on the maint. and it will keep running.
