Better Than You Think by Jeep lover. on 01/10/2009. Trim: 1996 Mazda B3000 SE Cab Plus 2WD, Owned 10 years.
Pros: I enjoy driving the Mazda, it is nimble on the road and in the parking lot. With the manual, the truck feels like a sports car. Acceleration is good. Reliability is incredible. Biggest problem was replacing the clutch at 127,500 miles. Even then, it could run fine up to an hour. The interior is comfortable, but not lush. The console is simple and thoughtfully laid out. Gas Mileage is good for a truck, I average around 22-23 mpg.
Cons: I wish it had 4X4 drive. There really isn't anything bad bout this truck though.
Overall review: If you want an affordable, reliable, smaller truck, that will keep going through almost anything, that will do what you ask without fuss, this is definitly worth your consideration. Also, it looks better than the Ranger.
