Pros:
Performance, acceleration, handling, braking, good air conditioning, looks. Pass thru to trunk using fold down rear seats. Throaty exhaust note. Fun to drive.
Cons:
Interior problems, such as door panels covering separating from panel and bubbles, headliner separating, door panel separates from door (poor design and fit). Sliding sunroof switch panel fell apart due to heat on plastic.
Overall review:
I've had two E-30s, an E-34, an E-36 and this M3 E-36. This by far is the most fun to drive, handles great, is generally well made, easy to work on. The AC works great (after changing the cabin filter and adding refrigerant) but the heater not so well. The sport seats are firm and holding, and the only complaint I really have is the door panels. They don't stay firm on the metal chassis due to the plastic pin design, and the vinyl itself has separated from the fiberboard panel. Overall, it looks and drives great, I just need to slow down some, at 95 it seems like you're doing 75.
