Pros:
Very reliable, bought used 60 k miles now has 235 k. Purrs like a kitten. Only regular oil changes, occasional maintenance include front brakes about every 40 k or so, timing belts at 70 to 90 k. Great fuel mileage @ 20 +. We go out of state to Colorado, Utah, Arizona or Oregon every year for a week or two ,carrying 3 of us with 3 mtn bicycles and luggage, each time a flawless drive. Had a fuel pump fail recently and the CD player acts up now. Tire wear never a problem, very good in fact. Never any transmission issues, had to recharge the A/C once. Great engine / drive train setup. Comfortable seating, no sunroof issues, had a a/c fan speed rheostat replaced and a window switch fail.
Cons:
The looks are dated, but then what isn't from that decade, the slider bench seat was difficult to remove but the rear captains seat was easy jerk out accommodate 3 bicycles standing up in that place
Overall review:
Would buy a later model because of the reliability, and the looks have improved greatly. Could sell to a friend and feel good about it knowing the vehicle wouldn't embarrass me.
