Pros:
The Power, The Luxery, The Reliability, The Strength of the Vehicle. The Looks, The Advanced Technology in many cars dont utilize even up to today.
Electronic Suspension Control
Digital Dash with Heads up Display (speedometer on windsheild)
Digital Climate Control
Heated Seats with Electronic Adjustments
and of course, all the perks of luxery, from leather to sunroof.
Cons:
Although this wasnt a perfect 10, the only thing I dislike about this bad boy car is the Transmission kept burning out. In the course of almost 10 years owning a 1989 Maxima, I have changed it 3 times. Later finding out that this generation 1989~1994 had transmissions that used very soft gears that easily cooked.
On my 3rd Transmission I Installed an external transmission cooler and I had no problems since and the Car did so well.
Oh yeah no cupholders but who cares right, ha!, and the body rusts to quickly.
Overall review:
Overall I think this car is extrremely great, and is generally very solid in performance and luxery. I still would recommend this vehicle to anyone who wants a tough car with the perks. The motor isnt aluminum its Iron which is real good, and it produces and very smooth clean ride on the road.
Givin its notorious transmission issue, and learning to use an extra cooler for the transmission, this car is simply flawless.
