My Ride by Dissapointed Individual on 11/15/2005. Trim: 1989 Lincoln Town Car Signature, Owned 2 years.
Pros: I really like the color; it is a really light blue; it hides dust very well. It is also very luxurious, even for an '89. It has a power moonroof that is bigger than any moonroof I have seen yet, leather seats, digital dash, dual power seats, power antenna, auto headlights, and reading lights. I rides really good and looks really good. It steers very smoothly.
Cons: The steering is too touchy. The brakes need to be firmer. It only gets about 14 miles per gallon according to the read out! My dad's diesel pickup almost gets that good! The aerodynamics are pathetic, but it is an older design. No other complaints
Overall review: This car is a really good car. This is our second of three town cars and it seems like they last forever! How many '89 Accords and Camrys do you see? I like to be patriotic and support the American car companies, especially Ford, of which I will be a life-long purchaser. People send too much money to different countries for automobiles; why do this? Japanese cars do not impress me and American ones are getting even better now. Be smart; do not buy Japanese.
