Demolition derby special by Jed from Tallahassee on 01/02/2004. Trim: 1989 Chevrolet S10 Pickup Reg. Cab Long Bed 2WD, Owned more than 10 years.
Pros: Tough little truck. Takes a beating in accidents and is still drivable.
Cons: Overheats (and warps head) if you look at it wrong. Bypassing the heater core and removing the thermostat will help a little. Manual transmission burns through clutches too fast. Thin body dents REALLY EASY. Bad gas mileage on a good day. Engine tends to seaze up easily (using 20W50 can help ease this problem)
Overall review: Overall, a tough truck. Great for a hunting truck or demolition derby.
