Buick Skylark not too bad actualy by Synchro from Chilliwack, BC on 03/25/2005. Trim: 1988 Buick Skylark Custom sedan, Owned 4 years.
Pros: It's easy to drive and park in tight spots. Great performance considering the engine. Accelerates nice at 1/2-3/4 foot to floor. Ive taken my car many times up mountains and logging roads if you go slow shell get you to the top even in very poor road conditions. but watch out for over-heating the engine. Kinda sporty my freinds like it. The interior has help up pretty good over the years too.
Cons: Well its a lemmon. Manny problems with ECM, TBI, miscelaneous sensor malmunctions, sway-bar links broke, water pump, alternator, heat-cold adjustment on panel, lock-up torque converter locks up in first gear then stalls. Engine is very noise (many ppl tell me it's normal though) Ive been through alot with this car and it's cost me a fortune to keep it running. But I still have it and drive it everyday. All this considring it only has 110,000 Kms on it!!! I do take very good care of my car, check oil weekly regular maintnance.
Overall review: Good car if your mechanicaly smart. Not bad on gas. Though alota new V6 engines are better on gas. Thats about it!
