2005 Honda Accord Hybrid

The Accord Hybrid looks similar to a standard Accord sedan, however unlike most other hybrids it puts an emphasis on performance rather than fuel economy. With more power and better fuel economy that the standard Accord V6, the Accord Hybrid is at the top of the Accord lineup. The new model comes fully loaded, with a navigation system as the only available factory option.

Honda was the first automaker to offer a hybrid in the U.S. when it introduced the tiny Insight in 2000. The Civic Hybrid followed in 2002, and now Honda becomes the first automaker to produce three hybrid models for the American market. The Accord Hybrid is the latest gas-electric to come from Honda, and is the first hybrid V6 offered in the U.S.
